Spiral Cake

Ingredients:

Cake Assembly Directions:

  • Step 1: Level cake layers with "cake leveler" or serrated knife

  • Step 2: Spread frosting on center of cake board

  • Step 3: Place down 1st cake layer on board

  • Step 4: Do a spiral pattern of buttercream in between each cake layer using round piping tip for blue and white

  • Step 5: Repeat steps for 2nd and 3rd layer

  • Step 6: For the 4th layer, place upside down

  • Step 7: Pile white frosting on top and completely cover with a crumb coat 

  • Step 8: Place in fridge for 20 minutes

  • Step 9: Remove from fridge and mark 8 sections on top and 8 on sides with ruler

  • Step 10: Fill in sections using white and blue buttercream (with #30 tip) in between the lines (start with sides first and then move to top)
