Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cake

Ingredients:

(4) 8 inch chocolate cakes - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE

Double batch peanut butter American Buttercream frosting - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
-
Chocolate Sprinkles

Chocolate Ganache - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE
Cake Assembly Directions:

Step 1: Level all cakes with a "cake leveler" or serrated knife

Step 2: Spread frosting on center of cake board

Step 3: Place 1st cake layer down on board

Step 4: Cover layer with frosting

Step 5: Continue the process with layer #2 & #3

Step 6: Place layer #4 upside down

Step 7: Scoop a lot of buttercream on top of cake and spread out with an offset spatula covering entire cake

Step 8:: Place in fridge for 20 minutes

Step 9: Remove from fridge and put on 2nd coat of frosting and smooth

Step 10: Use a squeeze bottle to make ganache drips going down sides of cake

Step 11: Cover the top with more ganache and spread out with an offset spatula

Step 12: Cover bottom sides of cake with chocolate sprinkles

Step 13: Pipe peanut butter frosting dollops on top

Step 14: Place Reese's peanut butter cups between each dollop
