Candy Sprinkle Cake

Ingredients:
-
(3) 6 inch red velvet cakes - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE

(3) 8 inch red velvet cakes
-
Double batch of chocolate American buttercream frosting - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE
-
2 Lollipops
-
Candy of your choice
-
Rainbow sprinkles

Chocolate ganache - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE
Cake Assembly Directions:

Step 1: Level all cakes with a "cake leveler" or serrated knife

Step 2: Spread frosting at center of cake board

Step 3: Place down 1st 8 inch cake layer

Step 4: Cover layer with frosting

Step 5: Repeat steps for 2nd and 3rd 8 inch cake layers

Step 6: Pile frosting on top of cake and spread out with offset spatula to cover cake

Step 7: Place in the fridge for 20 minutes to chill

Step 8: Remove from fridge and put on a 2nd thin coat of frosting

Step 9: Cover completely with rainbow sprinkles

Step 10: Place 4 straws around center of cake for support, cut away excess straw with scissors

Step 11: Use squeeze bottom to make chocolate ganache drips going down the sides

Step 12: On a 2nd cake board, repeat all above steps for 6 inch layers

Step 13: Once 6 inch layers are covered with sprinkles, place on top of 8 inch cake

Step 14: Use squeeze bottle to make more drips going down sides of 6 inch cake

Step 15: Use candy to decorate sides and top of cake

Step 16: Place lollipops on top of cake
