Peanut Butter

American Buttercream

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups peanut butter

  • 8 cups powdered sugar

  • 4 sticks unsalted butter

  • 1/4 -1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

** MAKES ENOUGH TO FROST A 3 LAYER 6" CAKE

Directions:

  • Step 1: Add butter + peanut butter to bowl of stand mixer

  • Step 2: Mix for 3 minutes at high speed

  • Step 3: Turn mixer down to low speed and slowly add in powdered sugar

  • Step 4: Drizzle in heavy cream (less cream makes thicker frosting)

  • Step 5: Add vanilla extract and salt, mix until desired consistency
