Numbers Cake

Ingredients:

  • Double Batch of chocolate cake batter separated into 1 half sheet pan and 1 quarter sheet pan - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE

  • Vanilla American buttercream frosting - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE

  • Meringue cookies

  • Pink/Blue sprinkles

  • Number templates (print online)

Cake Assembly Directions:

  • Step 1: Level cakes using a "cake leveler" or serrated knife

  • Step 2: Place stencil on top of cake and use a knife to cut around it (must have (2) 1's and (2) 7's

  • Step 3: Remove excess cake from around numbers

  • Step 4: Move cakes onto final serving platter

  • Step 5: Pipe dollops of buttercream covering cake with 1M tip

  • Step 6: Place on top layer of cake

  • Step 7: Pipe more dollops all around 2nd layer

  • Step 8: Decorate with meringues and sprinkles
