Donut Hole Cake

Ingredients:

Cake Assembly Directions:

  • Step 1: Level cakes with a "cake leveler" or serrated knife

  • Step 2: Spread buttercream on center of cake board

  • Step 3: Place 1st cake layer on top of board

  • Step 4: Spread frosting to cover cake layer

  • Step 5: Drizzle chocolate ganache on top of layer - CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE

  • Step 6: Place down 2nd cake layer

  • Step 7:  Repeat frosting and ganache steps

  • Step 8: Place on 3rd cake layer upside down

  • Step 9: Cover entire cake with frosting

  • Step 10: Smooth out frosting, then place in fridge for 20 minutes

  • Step 11: While in fridge, cut powdered sugar donuts in 1/2

  • Step 12: Remove cake from fridge and add 2nd layer of frosting

  • Step 13: Place cut donut holes are sides of cake

  • Step 14: Place rainbow sprinkled donut holes on top of cake
